On September 12, the 4th NanoBioCargo symposium ("Design, development and production of nanocarriers and nanovehicles") was held in the IMDEA Nanoscience Auditorium. This event was organized by the NanoBioCargo consortium, a group of scientists from various Madrid institutions (CNB-CSIC, IMDEA Nanoscience, and Complutense University), several of whom have been involved in successful projects under various calls from the Community of Madrid for nearly two decades, specifically in the area of R&D activity programs in Technologies.

 

While the consortium, now under the name NanoBioChat, awaits the outcome of the 2024 call, it has decided to maintain the spirit of interaction among groups in the Community of Madrid interested in the field of nanovehicles (though groups from other parts of Spain have attended this unique national event). This effort resulted in a highly interesting meeting attended by 70 researchers who listened to 19 presentations, notably those given by Dr. María Rosa Aguilar (Institute of Polymer Science and Technology - CSIC) and Ramón Martínez Máñez (Polytechnic University of Valencia).
